Here is a nice view of the top of my head. My new head feathers are edged in
a pretty reddish tan color. I'm also beginning to get new feathers on the sides
of my face. By the way, I was yelling, "Shadowww, peek-a-boo!" at mom when this
photo was taken.
This photo shows new feathers on my throat and upper chest. The white baby
feathers on my throat are slowly being replaced with iridescent feathers edged
in white. Mom says although I am becoming very beautiful, she is sad that I
have lost nearly all my baby feathers.
