8, 2003 -- Sixteen Days Old
Practiced flying. Visited Grandma.
Shadow practiced flying again today. He flew a distance of eight feet to the tv
where he crashed then flew about 12 feet to a bookcase. He is sooo determined
to fly like the big birds! But he really needs to work on his landings, for they
make mom very nervous.
Tonight he and
some of his folks spent the night at Grandma's house. Grandma was amazed at
how much he has grown. Of course he enjoyed her rubbing his back and singing
to him.
